Description

The Lophocereus schottii mieckleyanus commonly known as the Totem Pole Cactus (Skinny Form), is a rare, columnar cactus known for its smooth, sculptural appearance and slender, upright growth. Unlike the standard Totem Pole Cactus, this variety features thinner, elongated stems.

Please Note: Our collection includes bare-root WITHOUT any soil or pot and cuttings. Some of our plants may have minor scars, yet each one is guaranteed to arrive in optimal health and excellent condition. Additionally, any discoloration at the base of the cactus, particularly in rooted variants, is a typical result of previous planting in soil.

Cactus Care & FAQs

✔ After Arrival: Let your Totem Pole Cactus (Skinny Form) acclimate in a shaded, dry area for a few days before planting. Use a well-draining cactus mix, such as sandy soil with added perlite or pumice. Avoid watering for the first week to allow it to adjust.

✔ Long-Term Care: Place in full sun to partial shade for best growth. Water deeply but only when the soil is completely dry, typically every 2-3 weeks in warm months and less in winter. Protect from hard frost (below 30°F) by bringing it indoors or covering it in extreme cold.

  • Shipping Schedule: We ship orders every Monday and Thursday. Place your order by 8:00 AM (PST) on these days to ship the same day. Orders after 8:00 AM will ship on the next shipping day.

More than I ordered

Bought the scarred cacti, Was able to make a cutting from the extra stem. Already has rooted, and the two fellas are doing fine!!!
