What to expect in the box
You will receive one rooted, bare-root Faucaria gratiae in your chosen size, shipped without soil or a pot. After arrival: unbox promptly and let the plant rest in a shaded, dry spot for 1-2 days. Pot it up in a gritty, fast-draining succulent mix in a container with a drainage hole. Wait about a week before the first watering so the roots can settle, then begin a normal soak and dry routine. Leaf color and clump size vary naturally, so your plant will have its own character.

Cacti can look slightly dull after a few days in a dark box. Color returns within a week or two of bright light. If your area drops below 40F, we recommend adding a heat pack to your order, as one is not automatically included.

Faucaria gratiae is a charming little Tiger Jaws succulent from the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Its thick, triangular leaves form tight, low rosettes edged with soft white teeth and dusted with fine white dots, and the green leaves blush purple in strong sun. In late fall and early winter it opens large, daisy-like yellow flowers that seem almost too big for the plant.

It is an easy, compact grower that stays small and clumps up over time, making it perfect for a sunny windowsill, a dish garden, or a small pot. Give it lots of light and a dry root run, watering only once the soil has fully dried.
