What to expect in the box
You will receive one rooted, bare-root Ripple Jade shipped without soil or a pot. After arrival: unbox promptly and let the plant rest in a shaded spot for a day. Pot it in a gritty, fast-draining succulent mix in a container with a drainage hole. Wait a few days before the first watering so any disturbed roots can settle, then begin a normal soak and dry routine. Leaves that loosen in transit can be laid on dry soil, where many will root into new plants.

Cacti can look slightly dull after a few days in a dark box. Color returns within a week or two of bright light. If your area drops below 40F, we recommend adding a heat pack to your order, as one is not automatically included.

Ripple Jade (Crassula ovata 'Undulatifolia') is the sculptural cousin of the classic jade plant. Its blue-green leaves twist and wave instead of lying flat, giving the whole plant a rippled, wind-blown look, and with age it builds a thick trunk that makes it a natural bonsai subject.

It grows slowly, tolerates neglect, and is happy for years in a small pot. Bright light with some direct sun keeps the leaves dense and can edge them in red.

Keep away from pets: like all jade plants, it is toxic if eaten by cats or dogs.
