Mammillaria polythele 'Toluca', unlike many Mammillarias, this form is nearly spineless or lightly spined, making it ideal for indoor spaces or for those who want a cactus that’s easy to handle. Its deep green skin and orderly vertical ribs give it a modern, architectural vibe. Slow-growing and drought-tolerant, ‘Toluca’ is a beautiful and low-maintenance addition to your collection.

Please Note: Our collection includes bare-root WITHOUT any soil or pot and cuttings. ✔ After Arrival: Let your cactus rest in a shaded, dry spot for 3–5 days before planting. Use a well-draining cactus mix with added perlite or pumice. Do not water during this acclimation period to avoid root stress.
✔ Long-Term Care: Place in full sun to partial sun. Bright indirect light also works well indoors. Water deeply only when the soil is fully dry—every 2–3 weeks in warm months and less in winter.
✔ Hardiness Zone: 9–11. Protect from extended exposure below 20°F by moving indoors or using frost protection.
