This is the exact plant you will receive. A one of a kind Crested Blue Candle (Myrtillocactus geometrizans f. cristata) growing as a full colony: a 5 gallon pot packed rim to rim with serrated stems and crest ridges rising together, about 6 inches tall with stems to 7 inches.

This is the fullest pot of our current crest collection, more individual growth points than any other plant in the batch, all from one root system. It reads like a miniature crested landscape. Our last crest collection sold out, and no two grow alike.

  • Soil: Gritty, fast-draining cactus mix, repotted only when it outgrows its container.
  • Temperature: Hardy in USDA zones 9-11. Protect from frost.
  • Airflow: Good air movement helps the dense folds dry after watering.
