The Pilosocereus pachycladus commonly known as the Blue Torch Cactus has beautiful blue-green stems. One of its most impressive features is its vivid blue skin which intensifies with full sun exposure. During summer months, this cactus produces large, white night-blooming flowers that attract pollinators. Perfect for beginngers and long time cacti enthusiasts. 

Please Note: Our collection includes bare-root WITHOUT any soil or pot and cuttings. Some of our plants may have minor scars, yet each one is guaranteed to arrive in optimal health and excellent condition. Additionally, any discoloration at the base of the cactus, particularly in rooted variants, is a typical result of previous planting in soil.

Cactus Care & FAQs

✔ After Arrival: Let your Blue Torch Cactus acclimate in a shaded, dry area for a few days before planting. Use a well-draining cactus mix, such as sandy soil with added perlite or pumice. Avoid watering for the first week to help it adjust.

✔ Long-Term Care: Place in full sun for the best color and growth. Water deeply but only when the soil is completely dry, typically every 2-3 weeks in warm months and even less in winter. Protect from hard frost (below 30°F) by bringing it indoors or covering it in extreme cold.

✔ Hardiness Zone: 9-11

  • Shipping Schedule: We ship orders every Monday and Thursday. Place your order by 8:00 AM (PST) on these days to ship the same day. Orders after 8:00 AM will ship on the next shipping day.

  • Delivery Time: Most orders arrive in 3-5 business days after they are shipped.
  • Carriers: We ship via UPS and USPS, and you’ll get a tracking number once your order ships.
