What to expect in the box
You will receive one rooted, bare-root Aeonium arboreum 'Luteovariegatum' from a 6 in nursery pot, shipped without soil or a pot. After arrival: unbox promptly and rest the plant in bright shade for 1-2 days. Pot into a fast-draining cactus mix in a container with a drainage hole. Wait about a week before the first watering, then water when the top of the soil dries. Lower leaves may drop in transit or during summer dormancy. That is normal for aeonium and new growth resumes from the crown. Each plant is unique, so expect variation from the photos.

Cacti can look slightly dull after a few days in a dark box. Color returns within a week or two of bright light. If your area drops below 40F, we recommend adding a heat pack to your order, as one is not automatically included.

Aeonium arboreum 'Luteovariegatum' is the buttery variegated form of the tree aeonium, carrying flat rosettes of glossy leaves splashed and edged in creamy yellow on branching, upright stems. The variegation brightens in strong light and the rosettes can reach the size of a saucer.

Aeonium is a winter grower. It does its living through the cool, damp months and rests in the heat of summer, when a few lower leaves naturally drop and the rosettes tighten. That is normal, not a problem. Give it bright light, fast-draining soil, and easy water while it is actively growing.
