The Trichocereus bridgesii Monstrous commonly known as the Penis Cactus is a rare and sought-after mutated columnar cactus. Featuring smooth, segmented, irregularly shaped stems, this unique variety is known for its sculptural appearance. A great conversation starter for obvious reasons! 

Please note: We offer both cuttings (unrooted pieces that will root over time) and bare-root plants (already rooted, but shipped without soil or pot). Cactus Care

After Arrival
Carefully unpack your cactus as soon as it arrives.

If it’s a cutting, don’t be alarmed if the base looks dry, that’s completely normal. Cuttings are fresh segments taken from mature plants that don’t yet have roots. They need time to callous over, so let them rest in a dry, shaded spot for a few weeks before planting in cactus soil. Avoid watering during this period, as moisture too soon can lead to rot.

If you received a rooted plant, it already has a developed root system and can be potted right away. Once planted, wait about a week before giving it a light watering to help it settle into its new environment.

Sunlight Introduction
Start it in bright, indirect light for a few days before moving it to full sun.

Light
Outdoors, it thrives in full sun. Indoors, place it near a sunny window that gets at least 4–6 hours of direct sunlight.

Watering
Water deeply using the soak-and-dry method, and let the soil dry out completely between waterings. In winter, reduce watering significantly.

Use a gritty cactus mix and a pot with drainage. Terracotta pots are ideal.

It can bloom with large, white, night-opening flowers, but this is rare and typically happens only in mature outdoor plants.
