Description

The Echinopsis terscheckii commonly known as the Argentine Saguaro is native to Argentina and drought tolerant. The Argentine Saguaro thrives in hot, arid climates, and produces large white flowers. This cactus has thick ribbed green stems and golden spines, over time can develop multiple arms. Makes for a stunning focal point to any garden or landscape. 

Please Note: Our collection includes bare-root WITHOUT any soil or pot and cuttings. Some of our plants may have minor scars, yet each one is guaranteed to arrive in optimal health and excellent condition. Additionally, any discoloration at the base of the cactus, particularly in rooted variants, is a typical result of previous planting in soil.

Cactus Care & FAQs

✔ After Arrival: Let your Argentine Saguaro acclimate in a dry, shaded area for a few days before planting. Use a well-draining cactus mix, such as sandy soil with added perlite or pumice. Avoid watering for the first week to allow it to adjust.

✔ Long-Term Care: Place in full sun for optimal growth. Water deeply but only when the soil is completely dry, typically every 2-3 weeks in warm months and less in winter. Protect from hard frost (below 20°F) by bringing it indoors or covering it in extreme cold.

  • Shipping Schedule: We ship orders every Monday and Thursday. Place your order by 8:00 AM (PST) on these days to ship the same day. Orders after 8:00 AM will ship on the next shipping day.

  • Delivery Time: Most orders arrive in 3-5 business days after they are shipped.
  • Carriers: We ship via UPS and USPS, and you’ll get a tracking number once your order ships.
