Description

The Agave victoriae-reginae commonly known as the Queen Victoria Agave is a slow-growing succulent. Native to northern Mexico, this is a drought-tolerant agave that thrive is full sun. Perfect for landscapes, rock gardens, and containers.

Please Note: Unless it comes in a 2" or 4" pot, all plants in our collection are shipped bare-root, without soil or pots. While some plants may have minor scars, we guarantee they will arrive in excellent condition and optimal health. Additionally, any discoloration at the base of the plant, especially in rooted varieties, is a normal result of prior planting in soil.

Cold Weather Warning

If your area drops below 40°F, we highly recommend adding a heat pack to your order. 🌡️❄️

Cactus Care & FAQs

After Arrival: Let your Queen Victoria Agave rest in a shaded, dry area for a few days before planting. Use a well-draining cactus mix, such as sandy soil with added perlite or pumice. Avoid watering for the first week to help it adjust.

Long-Term Care: Place in full sun to partial shade for the best growth and color. Water deeply but only when the soil is completely dry, typically every 2-3 weeks in summer and every 4-6 weeks in winter when dormant. Protect from hard frost (below 10°F) by bringing it indoors or covering it in extreme cold.

Hardiness Zone: 7-11
